Novosibirsk students sewed fashionable clothes for children with disabilities

The collection of clothes for children with disabilities was created by students of the Novosibirsk College of Light Industry and Service. Convenient things are sewn in the framework of the project “Empathy Lessons”, taking into account the characteristics of the figures of children, while they are beautiful and fashionable, the authors of the idea assure.

Future graduates of the university in the framework of the Empathy Lessons project have developed clothing models for children and adolescents with problems with the musculoskeletal system and intellectual characteristics, the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor and Employment said.

“These are special children, ordinary clothes are not always suitable for them,” said Natalya Nikitina, head of the Empathy Lessons project. “They are helped by parents, for whom it is extremely important that the clothes are comfortable, beautiful and it can be quickly dressed and removed.”

Things take into account the morphological features of the figure, gender and age. The collection is designed to show what clothes can be for young people with disabilities.

The defile show of the finished collection will be held on March 3, at the Novosibirsk College of Light Industry and Service.
