According to preliminary data, tenth grade students at one of the gymnasiums in Yekaterinburg stole clothes from the priests' locker room and a cross from the altar, replacing it with a wrench.

“On this fact, police officers from the juvenile affairs unit are conducting an investigation, based on the results of which an appropriate decision will be made, as well as the necessary preventive response measures both in relation to 10th grade students, their legal representatives and the educational institution,” said Gorelykh. He noted that nothing was missing from the temple.

The publication Life claims that 17-year-old boys Makar and Vladimir ran around the temple, launched paper airplanes, and then went into the locker room and took a cassock. The guards did not allow them to take the vestments and the cross out of the temple, who detained the young people and handed them over to the police.

The trial of blogger Ruslan Sokolovsky, who was arrested in early September after filming a video about catching Pokemon on a smartphone in the Church on the Blood, is now beginning in Yekaterinburg. The Memorial Human Rights Center recognized Sokolovsky as a political prisoner.
