The son of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Alexei Rogozin, working in the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense, will become the Vice President of Transport Aviation of the United Aircraft Corporation. Rogozin came to the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense in April 2016. In the military department, he oversaw the work of large subordinate Ministry of Defense of enterprises, in particular Aviaremont, Special Repair, Office of the 224th Flight Detachment and others, and also implemented plans to transfer military repair plants to industrial enterprises. At a new job, Rogozin will have to form and establish the work of the UAC transport division, as well as understand the losses of the Ulyanovsk Aviastara-SP, which produces IL-76MD-90A aircraft. The interlocutors of the publication emphasized that this work is part of the strategic program, the essence of which is reduced to the transformation of the corporate structure of the UAC by forming specialized divisions. There will be four of them in total: transport, civilian, military and special. In the corporation Rogozin will oversee all the work related to the creation of a heavy transport aircraft IL-76MD-90A, light IL-112V, as well as promising developments like a supersonic transport aircraft.

But first, Rogozin will have to figure out the difficult situation with the losses of the Aviastara-SP. The annual report for 2015 states that the company suffered a loss of 10.1 billion rubles.
