For many Russian opposition and liberal journalists, the investigation of Navalny about the grand state of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is the present moment of truth. Now society will understand how his officials live, what capital they own against the backdrop of the ongoing impoverishment of Russians - right a feast during the plague. And this is the Prime Minister, the youngest in Tandem. One can only imagine what billions, palaces, yachts and machines Vladimir Putin possesses.

But society will not notice the investigation of Navalny - and not only because they will not say anything about it through federal channels.

Society does not respond to fabulous income of Russian officials simply because it perceives their wealth exclusively as a free application to Russia. And in a sense, it is right. What significance does it have, how many palaces or vineyards bought Medvedev or Putin for themselves if they own Russia - all and all. If they perceive Russia as a toy. If they see her citizens as characters in a fascinating computer game: someone should portray a grateful audience at the proceedings, someone-to ensure the well-being of players in their endless entertainment from Sochi to Tuva, and someone to be a tin soldier who can be sent to Crimea, Donbass or Syria so that they can feel like great commanders.

The plot of the Golding "Lord of Flies" has become a reality in Russia. The country is controlled by elderly children who have not grown out of short pants. One spends billions on yachts and estates, the other plays the "sea battle" and sends rusty vessels to the other end of the world to satisfy his exorbitant pride. For the sake of indefatigable vanity, they are ready to destroy the cities and kill people, for the sake of money - to conclude alliances with the most repulsive representatives of big politics or criminal world. They do not even think about any future, no responsibility. They wake up and play, inventing new entertainment from boredom, one more dangerous than the other. But these children are trusted not only by matches. They are trusted with a nuclear arsenal.

The secret of their durability is not in their outstanding abilities and not even in tyranny. It’s just that those who they manage, for the most part, also did not come out of childhood. And therefore, they also perceive the game as managing the state, and the country as a toy.
