A prisoner committed suicide in Butyrka

A prisoner committed suicide in Moscow's Butyrka pre-trial detention center on March 3, the Federal Penitentiary Service reported. According to the Federal Penitentiary Service, the man's body was found in the quarantine department. Life calls him Michael D.

A native of Kalmykia was taken to a pre-trial detention center on March 2. He was 31 years old. He was suspected of drug trafficking. He had previously been convicted of theft.

"An investigation is underway on this fact," a spokesman for the Federal Penitentiary Service said.
