The US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) requested doping tests of four-time Olympic champion, run-in medium and long distances of the MO FARA at the British Anti-Doping Agency (UKAD) for processing.
Earlier, the British newspaper Sunday Times gained access to the draft of the USADA report, which was written in March 2016. The report tells about the possibleuse of doping by runners who train in the Oregon project. The report was prepared at the request of the medical supervisory department of this American state. In particular, it states that the American coach Alberto Salazar, who works in the project, including MO FARA, used mixtures from permitted drugs to increase testosterone levels in his wards based on L-carnitine.
USADA intends to double -check the samples of the headlights using the latest means to detect prohibited substances. In turn, the UKAD head Nicole Sapsted confirmed that her organization is working together with American colleagues on this issue.
The report reported that Salazar could give his athletes legal drugs with L-carnitin in excessive quantities.
“L -carnitine is a widely accessible, not prohibited WADA food supplement, it was used as part of the WADA code, and this was agreed with USADA,” the coach noted. “I voluntarily collaborated with USADA for many years. The leakage of information and false statements in the press are anxiety; I look forward to when this unjust and protracted process is over.”
Earlier, Farah said that he had never violated the anti -doping rules. At the games of 2012 and 2016, he won two gold medals in 10,000 and 5,000 m.
In September, the Haker group Fancy BEARS haluted the database of the Anti -Doping System of Adams, after which she began to publish documents according to which many titled athletes in different years accepted prohibited substances for therapeutic purposes. Among them was the headlight, reminds TASS.
