On the morning of March 5, the city authorities made contact with the protesters and invited demonstrators to the assembly hall of the city executive committee, the Belarusian partisan reports. The conversation with the mayor came out very emotional, the website "Virtual Brest" reports. Judging by the broadcast on the Brest newspaper website, some of the participants in the meeting in the city executive committee quickly returned to the street.

The march lasted from 12 to 14 hours local time (coincides with Moscow). The organizers finally warned of provocations and called on the participants of the action to be careful.

Protest shares against the so -called parasitism tax have been held in Belarus since mid -February .

On April 2, 2015, President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed the decree "On the Prevention of Social dependency." He did this "in order to stimulate able -bodied citizens to work and ensure the fulfillment of their constitutional obligation to participate in financing state expenses."

The decree looms the citizens of Belarus, as well as foreigners permanently residing in the Republic, "who did not participate in financing government spending or participated in such financing less than 183 calendar days in the past year", pay a fee in the amount of 20 basic units. One basic value is 180 thousand Belarusian rubles, that is, the total amount of fees will be approximately $ 245, or 3.6 million Belarusian rubles.

Citizens engaged in labor activity (as indicated on the decree: entrepreneurial, craft, creative, lawyer or notarial, providing services in the field of agro-ecotourism, performing work on civil law contracts, training in the daytime education) 183 days a year or more, are exempted from paying the fee.

Incapital citizens, people with disabilities, faces younger than 18 years old, women who have reached the age of 55 years old, men - 60 years old, but housewives in a new decree will be considered as parasites are also released from the collection. Only mothers raising a child up to seven years old, or a disabled child under 18 years of age, or three or more minor children, will not pay tax.
