In Nizhny Novgorod, unknown people flooded the door of the house with foam, where on Monday the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny should open. According to Interfax, Anna Stepanova, head of Navalny’s headquarters in Nizhny Novgorod, announced this.
“This morning, the door to the headquarters was flooded with the installation foam, to the hairdresser, located in the neighborhood, and to the entrance. All the doors in this house, all the castles. We have already reported to the police,” said Stepanova.
According to her, the installation foam from the doors has already been removed. She noted that representatives of the headquarters notified the day before the police that a provocation was being prepared.
In a conversation with the Mediazona, the head of the headquarters added that the owner of the premises where the headquarters was located was offered to stop cooperation with Navalny. After the refusal, they sent him a message, with the threat: "They destroyed your doors, destroy your room."
In addition, the campaign participants were refused another room - the hall where the meeting with volunteers should take place. Stepanova emphasized that the event would take place, since Supporters of Navalny prepared spare options in advance.
“Nizhny - while the first region, where the authorities took up such a garbage. Why,” asked Navalny himself on his twitter.
The leader of the Party of Progress in December announced plans to participate in the elections of the President of Russia. Now the politician is running around Russian cities, in the framework of which headquarters are opening, and meetings with volunteers are also taking place.
