Arkhangelsk musicians will be judged by the 282nd article for the song

In Arkhangelsk, a criminal case was transferred to the court against the musicians Valery Vyglezhanin and Anton Sapieha from the Group's Grandfather group. As reported on the website of the regional branch of the SK, the case under the 282nd article of the Criminal Code was initiated on the proposal of the FSB. In May 2015, at a concert in the club "Wheel", rockers performed a song of their own composition "About the Jew".

The investigation claims that the words of the song contains humiliating characteristics and negative emotional assessments of one of the ethnic groups. During the investigation, experts studied the video made during the performance. According to the conclusions of a psychological linguistic examination, the song contains signs of humiliation of human dignity according to the basis of nationality and the initiation of enmity. Currently, this song is not included in the federal register of extremist materials.

During interrogations, members of the Grandfather group pleaded guilty. They repented of the deed and explained that the song was written for a long time, at the time of the enthusiasm of musicians by the Russian national idea, and was not previously publicly performed.

The soloist of the group Valery Vyglezhanin told the 7x7 magazine that on January 25 at 6:30 a.m., at the same time, three members of the group came to the FSB operatives.

"After that, we delivered to the investigator, then we learned about the criminal case and the extremist nature of the song. When the court is still unknown to us, we performed this song simply because we have our song and we have it, the extremist content was not a priority in performance, and then this expertise proved, and not completely, we believe that there was a denunciation, but we can only guess people: there are only people. In our environment, who could do it, but there are no facts. "

According to him, the musicians will no longer perform seditious songs. They also asked the subscribers of their community in VKontakte to remove it from the audio recordings.

The Rock Group "Angry Grandfather" appeared in 2013. Earlier, participants in this team played under the name "Dear Russians." The author of the text of the song about Jews is the soloist of the group Anton Sapega. The Moar Grandfather community in VKontakte has 560 participants. The description of the work of the team says that it "united everything Russian that is in rock, and all the fatal ones that are in the Russians."

In September 2016, a similar case of extremism was instituted against the Volgograd rock musician Yaroslav Reshetnyak, the leader of the MDP group ("My daring truth"). He was charged with part 2 of article 280 (public calls for extremism) and part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code. According to the plot of the case, in May 2014, Reshetnyak created the website of his group, on which, among other things, he published texts of songs. The examination saw in these texts "utterances of an extremist nature."
