The effect of the new decree will not apply to those who already have current American visas or residence permits. However, the terms for the ban on entry and restrictions on the reception of refugees remained unchanged - 90 days and 120 days, respectively.

At the same time, all refugees who are already in the USA are allowed to stay. The number of refugees arriving in the country is limited to 50 thousand people.

Trump signed the previous decree tightening the migration policy on January 28, but the Seattle Federal Court suspended the decree after a complaint of the states of Washington and Minnesota. The appeal that the US Ministry of Justice filed, the court rejected the court.
