The “Winzavod” will host an exhibition of Anton Kushaev

On March 10, in Moscow, in the Center for Contemporary Art “Vincuvod”, an exhibition of the artist Anton Kushaev “Dubious foundation” will open at the site of young art “Start”. The curator is Kirill Preobrazhensky.

“The author offers us an original view of the usual city buildings, elusive the design of our attention. - report the organizers of the exhibition. -In his works, he exposes the frames and foundations of primitive architectural structures of the stand-beam type, shows the grounds hidden from our eyes. With the help of different media-painting, graphics and an object, Anton Kushaev builds a city-stands from architectural skeletons and dust. ”

“The city becomes a cage, the street is a trap, the image is a trap. - says the artist. - Invisible, they become an obsessive rattle of grinding dust and settled all around. Covered by a veil, they seem non -existent, but can be found. ”

Anton Kushaev (b. 1983) graduated from the Moscow Art School of Applied Arts and an icon -painting school at the Moscow Theological Academy, is now studying at the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art “Base”.

Member of Artist-Runspace Center "Red". The co -founder of the exhibition space "noise" in St. Petersburg. Lives and works in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

For twelve years, Anton Kushaev was engaged in temple painting, worked on large frescoes, and took part in the painting of more than twenty temples.

The exhibition of Anton Kushaev “Doubtful foundation” will last until April 2.
