In the Committee on Law and Order of the city administration, the applicants of the “March”, which was supposed to take place in the format of a rally, were informed that on March 19, on the Field of Mars from 11:00 to 19:00, a certain “mass cultural” event was being held, which was held by the administration of the Central district of the city, Boris Vishnevsky, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, writes on Facebook. He notes that there is no information about this “mass cultural event” on the website of the Central District Administration. “Most likely, this is a fiction - then it turns out that they danced round dances on Marsovo for half an hour, but there was nothing else,” Vishnevsky believes.

"March" is proposed to be moved to the Specific Park in the northern part of the city, reports "Business Petersburg".

Field of Mars is St. Petersburg's "Hyde Park", that is, a site where, according to the law, public events can be held without approval, but only if the number of participants does not exceed 200 people. The organizers planned to dedicate the event to the problem of education in St. Petersburg, the situation around the Russian National Library (“Publicki”), the transfer of St. Isaac's Cathedral to the Russian Orthodox Church, and construction in the area of ​​the Pulkovo Observatory.
