The Commission of the Ministry of Culture did not find signs of gay propaganda in the film "Beauty and the Beast" of the Walt Disney Pictures studio. This was stated by the head of the department Vladimir Medinsky, RIA Novosti reports .
"We checked, did not find. We have the conclusion of the Likhachev Cultural Heritage Institute, they watched the film in the details of the whole commission. The institute is famous for its ultra -conservative approach on culture issues. They recommended increasing the age qualification, which was done (16+)," the minister said. The rating of 16+ allows you to watch a movie in cinemas to children accompanied by adults.
"The distributors will try not to put this movie in the morning, when the children can watch it, but neither employees, nor officials of the ministry, nor employees of the cinema department, nor the whole commission saw any formal violations of the law," Medinsky noted.
In "Beauty and the Beast" for the first time for Disney films, a character will appear. They will be Lefa, the improvised villain of Gaston. In this regard, the State Duma deputy, Uneneros, Vitaly Milonov, demanded that Medinsky conduct a premiere verification of the film and, if the elements of gay propaganda is discovered, prohibit its release.
Milonov claimed that he received many appeals from citizens in connection with the imminent premiere of the picture. “In this case, the public cannot look silently at what film distributors are offered under the guise of a children's fairy tale - obvious, undisguised, unscrupulous propaganda of sin, perverted sexual relations,” said Uneneros. “I am convinced that the main task of the state in relation to children is the protection of childhood and youth from the mud of the world, the savings of children's purity, the fence of our children from corrugated and dangerous phenomena. And in this case, our common task is to prevent the release of this musical to the screens under any kind. "
