
The ruble exchange rate on Thursday decreases, playing out the ongoing drop in oil prices on world exchanges.
The first dollar transactions were held on the Moscow Exchange in the range of 58.8-58.98 rubles, according to the results of the first minute of the trading, the rate amounted to 58.86 rubles, adding 68 kopecks to the level of the previous closure. The euro rose to 62.01 rubles (+47.3 kopecks), the cost of the bivalyut basket increased by 58.7 kopecks in relation to the level of closing Tuesday, amounting to 60.28 rubles.
The dollar rate was 59.7 kopecks above the level of the current official course, the euro - 30.4 kopecks above the official course.
By 13:30, the dollar exchange rate to the ruble at the auction of the Moscow Exchange grew by 92 kopecks compared to the level of closing of previous bidding and amounted to 59.1 rubles. The last time the dollar rate rose above 59 rubles on March 3, 2017, Interfax reports.
The official US dollar rate established by the Bank of Russia since March 10 is 58.8318 rubles, the Central Bank’s press service reports. Thus, the cost of the ruble, expressed in dollars, compared with the previous day, decreased by 0.97%.
The official Euro exchange rate announced by the Bank of Russia since March 10 is 61.9911 rubles. Thus, the cost of the ruble, expressed in the euro, compared with the previous day, decreased by 0.46%.
