
The legend of French rock music Johnny Holliday suffers from an oncological disease and is currently undergoing a course of treatment. The artist reported this on Wednesday on his Twitter page.
According to the singer, a few months ago he found cancer cells, which is why he is currently undergoing treatment. "I am led by excellent specialists whom I completely trust. At the moment of my life, nothing threatens," the message quoted by TASS said. At the end of his message, the performer added the phrase: "See you on the stage."
Earlier, Johnny Holliday underwent two operations in France and the United States - according to the press, he was operated on a spinal hernia. In 2011, the singer was hospitalized with the attack of tachycardia during relaxation on the island of Saint-Barteli.
Johnny Holliday was born in 1943. His career began in the 1960s. The singer’s repertoire has more than a thousand songs. He recorded at least 100 albums, of which almost 70 received the status of "gold" and "platinum". In October 2012, the artist first performed in Russia.
