St. Petersburg activist Alexey Ivanov left the police

Aleksei Ivanov, who was detained at a feminist rally and previously returned to the police department, has been released and is on his way home. Dinar Idrisov writes about this. Earlier, the human rights activist reported that Ivanov would spend the night in the police, but his associates and lawyers managed to secure the release of the activist from the police. Idrisov also reports that a check is being carried out for the presence of elements of the crime “violence against a representative of the authorities” (Article 318 of the Criminal Code).

Aleksey Ivanov was detained on March 8 in St. Petersburg for a feminist rally and is accused of holding an uncoordinated rally and disobeying the lawful demands of police officers.
