On the evening of March 10, it turned out that Yevgenia Chudnovets would still go to Dozhd. The broadcast with her participation should begin at 23.00 Moscow time.
The editors of Channel One did not allow Yevgenia Chudnovets and her husband to leave the studio after filming the program "Male / Female", so that she would not go to the Dozhd TV channel to give an interview to Ksenia Sobchak. This was told to Dozhd by lawyer Vitalina Pankova, who also participated in the recording.
Pankova claims that one of the editors said: "We will lay down our bones so that you do not get on the air of Dozhd." Employees of the First allegedly insulted the participants of the program and threatened them. Later, the filming participants were put into a car and taken to a hotel, Pankova said.
The publication also claims that during filming, the editors saw Chudnovets chatting with a Dozhd correspondent, after which they "quietly took out her phone from her pocket." According to a Meduza source on Channel One, the editors of the program claim that they did not take Chudnovets' phone and did not detain her.
Maria Baronova from Open Russia, who was present at the shooting , told Mediazona that “the producer took the phone from Chudnovets, because she corresponded and prevented the equipment from working.” According to her, it was "the only situation [on the set] that somehow resembled a conflict"; Chudnovets did not get on the air of Dozhd, because the filming of the program was delayed.
Oksana Shulga, editor-in-chief of the Male / Female program, told Dozhd that Chudnovets signed an exclusive contract with Channel One (he assumes that she will not give interviews to other TV channels). She did not confirm the information about the attempt to detain the shooting participants.
The host of the program, Alexander Gordon, said that he did not know anything about the incident.
The recording of the talk show on Channel One began at 16.00, Chudnovets was supposed to take part in the Dozhd program Sobchak, which was scheduled to be broadcast live at 19.00.
