In addition, according to the amendments that are planned to be introduced at once by several current codes and laws, the Moscow authorities will be able to determine the content of the demolition program of five -story buildings and sources of its financing, draw up lists of houses for demolition and determine the procedure for replacing housing for owners. At the same time, not only houses from the list for demolition can be demolished, but also those that fall into the boundaries of the subject’s subject “renovation” (it previously became known that nine -story buildings may also be included in the program). Officials will also be able to exclude houses for demolition from the overhaul program.

As follows from the presentation of the city hall, presented at a meeting in the Duma on March 2, we are talking about the demolition of 7934 houses with an area of ​​25.1 million square meters. m, in which 1.6 million people live. But the city hall made it clear that it was not planned to build three times more housing.

The day before, the city administration once again assured that the inhabitants of five -story buildings would be relocated within their or neighboring areas (with the exception of the inhabitants of the Central Administrative District, they would allocate housing within the district). Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted that only the waiting list will be able to count on improving housing conditions: they will be allocated by their apartments according to social norms. The remaining immigrants will receive apartments with the same number of rooms and a meter per meter, but with more spacious bathrooms and kitchens. At the expense of the latter, as assumed in the city hall, the total area of ​​the immigrant apartment may increase by 20%. Sobyanin assured that the new houses will be built "on modern projects" and among them will be monolithic.

The mayor also stated on Thursday that from residents of demolished buildings they would stop taking a feud for overhaul, and already collected contributions would go "to accelerate the program for the construction of new houses." At the same time, according to Sobyanin, collected from the inhabitants of five -story buildings for overhaul will not be enough "even for a hundredth part of the necessary costs."
