A sharp weakening of the Russian currency in the last two days has been associated with the decline in world oil prices. The cost of WTI and Brent on March 8 collapsed by more than 5% - to minimums from the middle of last December. This happened after the publication of data on a significant increase in the reserves of raw materials in the United States for a week, as well as statements by the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al-Falikh, who indicated that not all countries fulfill the OPEC agreement on reducing production.
On March 10, by the middle of the day, Brent quotes grew by 0.6% to $ 52.5 per barrel, and WTI - by 0.8% to $ 49.7 per barrel.
