The port in the Turkish city of Songuldak stopped taking ferries and ships that arrived from Crimea, reports the local Deniz Haber edition. Officials explain this to the crews of the Port of Clerance document confirming the customs clearance of goods.

Over the past two weeks, neither the Russian nor Turkish ships who came from the ports of the annexed peninsula can moor in the Songuldak.

“The only reason we cannot unload is that the ship has arrived from Crimea,” said Arzigul Kaymakchi, head of the Turkish company Selin Global Foreign Trade. According to him, trade with Sevastopol was actually stopped.

The impossibility of unloading in the port of Songoldak was confirmed by the publication of Panorama by the director of the company-operator of the ferry message "of the Crimean Naval Agency" Stanislav Gvozdilov. “All ships from Crimea are not accepted,” he said. “Logically, it turns out that Turkey does not recognize the Russian Crimea, this is the reason. Russian ships from other regions are accepted from Novorossiysk, for example, but from Crimea - not.”

According to Narvvvvvodilov, this problem can be solved in one way - to go to the port of another Russian region and from there to go to Turkish ports.

The sanctions imposed by a number of democratic countries after the annexation of Crimea by Russia do not allow direct supplies of goods to the peninsula. Türkiye, however, did not join these sanctions. In April 2014, Ukraine closed control and passing points across the border in the Crimean ports. However, the Turkish company Esen Elita Tur in July of the same year ignored this ban, starting passenger transportation between Istanbul and Sevastopol . Transportation was started even despite the fact that the Turkish Foreign Ministry demanded that the National Ministry of Transport and communicate not accept transport from Crimea, in the documents of which there will be no mark "Ukraine".

The sea message of Crimea with Turkey was interrupted during the aggravation of Russian-Turkish relations. However, it was resumed after normalizing the situation . At the same time, Turkey does not recognize the Russian annexation of the peninsula .
