The exposition includes about 60 paintings by 19 artists, including Martiros Saryan, Egish Tadvosyan, Sedrak Arakelyan and Vagram Gaifjyan.
The work will be provided by the National Gallery of Armenia, the Museum of Russian Art of Yerevan and private collectors.
An illustrated catalog will be published to the opening of the exhibition, which will include articles about Armenian impressionism as an artistic phenomenon, biographical essays about artists and interesting facts about their works. The exhibition program has lectures, thematic discussions, musical evenings and excursions.
Exhibition "Armenian impressionism. From Moscow to Paris ” in the Museum of Russian Impressionism will last until June 4.
