Today it is Google, to which the antimonopoly service has already written out a fine of 438 million rubles, as well as Facebook and Twitter, which refuse to transfer servers with personal data of Russian users to Lubyanka. They would like to narrow him, subjugate him, they are trying to record it all and explore it under a microscope in search of seditions. They go to the right, come on the left, block the services in thousands, judge the Internet in the courts, carry it to the prosecutor's office. But nothing happens. And it will not work. It will not work out to drive the cloud into the bottle, it will not be possible to cut the worldwide thing so that it fit in their pocket.
At a time when Huawei invests $ 600 million in the development of 5G communication standard, which involves a speed of 10 GBT per second, Russia will invest no less (cuts ...) in a return to the speeds of the Dial-UP era, that is, 50 or 150 kbit per second. And then there was no need to prohibit all the broadcasting-it was enough to drown out Radio Liberty and the BBC.
People who promote a plan to slow down the Internet are acting against the Internet and against Russia. Involving with their police methods on the Internet, they destroy its integrity and violate the principle of network neutrality. The Internet is crushing, they cripple the country, force it to degradation.
The very discussion of the idea to slow down the Internet, its very presence in public life is a sign of illness. To offer such wild, such crazy things is like proposing straw for food and serfdom instead of personal freedom. To slow down the Internet means to slow life, to deprive it of the ease of instant communications is to break the country's connections with the world, to stick sticks into the wheels of business, means to push people from the road to the puddle and deprive them of what they have.
