The head of the Pskov “Open Russia” was summoned to the “E” Center

Yuri Kanygin, coordinator of the Pskov branch of the Open Russia movement, was called on March 13 by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism (Center E) to give explanations. In a telephone conversation, Kanygin asked to send him a summons, but so far he has not received it. It is reported by "Pskov province" with reference to Kanygin.

The activist does not know exactly on what case he should give explanations. “Apparently, we are talking about an attempt to initiate a case under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - “Production and distribution of extremist materials.” According to the same scenario, the police tried to put pressure on the Open Russia activists in Chuvashia,” says Yury Kanygin.

On March 16, it became known that the coordinator of Open Russia in Chuvashia was fined for reposting the news, about his previous fine for reposting.
