McDonald's called Trump a "disgusting president" on Twitter and then announced a hack

The official McDonald's Twitter account took to Donald Trump and called him a "disgusting president." Almost immediately after publication, the tweet was deleted.

The full text read: "You really are a disgusting president and we want Barack Obama back, also you have small hands."

The restaurant's appeal to Trump was noticed by other Twitter users. Those who were dissatisfied with the tweet started the hashtag #BoycottMcDonalds (Boycott McDonald's)

In a subsequent tweet, McDonald's explained that the account had been hacked.
