In Ingushetia, unknown people fired from a manual grenade launcher building of the Malgobek department of the FSB in the republic. According to TASS, this was reported in law enforcement agencies of the republic.

The incident happened at about one in the morning. The building caused insignificant damage. As a result of shelling, no one was injured. Investigative actions are currently being carried out.

According to the newspaper "Ingushetia", the corps of a grenade launcher was discovered by law enforcement officers near the scene. The shooters managed to hide, they are being wanted.

Prior to this, the sources of Interfax reported an explosion in Malgobek, without specifying its nature. "It is still unknown whether it was an explosion of domestic gas or a deliberate undermining using an explosive device," the source said.

In November 2016, the FSB reported on the detention of five participants in an extremist group associated with the Islamic State. The special services claim that the detainees were preparing terrorist acts in the territory of Ingushetia and in Moscow.

A criminal case has been instituted against the detainees under part 2 of article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia). "On the territory of the households in which they took refuge, as well as in a specially equipped caches, five units of firearms were seized, two ready -made 10 kilograms of TNT for the use of explosive devices," the special services said. In addition, the detainees found homemade electric depositors, components to home -made explosive devices, ammunition for various types of weapons.
