In St. Petersburg, an action movie of a private military company Alexander Sagaidak, who died in late February in Syria, was buried. It is reported by Fontanka.ru.
The corpse of a 45-year-old Sagaidak was in the morgue of a military hospital in Rostov-on-Don for some time. Doctors say that the militant died of heart failure. However, the acquaintances of Sagaidak claim that in reality he died in battle.
In the 1990s, Sagaidak fought as part of the Russian border wrap in Tajikistan. In the future, he worked in private security services for many years. According to the fighter acquaintances, he participated in Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine.
In January 2016, Sagaidak was sent in a pre-trial detention center in the case of storage of weapons and ammunition. In the summer, he was released on a recognizance not to leave. Soon after, Sagaidak, having violated the preventive measure, hired a certain PMC and went to the base of the militants' training in the Krasnodar Territory. As we might assume, we are talking about military unit No. 51532 on the Molkino farm in the city of Goryachy Key. This is the base of the 10th separate team of GRU special forces, also used by the Wagner PMC.
In early March, with an interval of one day in the media, information appeared about the death of two militants of the PMC Wagner - Ivan Poyshkin and Vasily Yurlin . The first of them was killed during an intelligence operation in the area of the Ash Shaer gas field. The circumstances of the death of the second are unknown.
