The Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg deprived the European University. This was announced on the university page on Facebook by the head of the recreetate Alla Aimletova.
“This is a very dry residue: the license is canceled. The decision comes into force after a month or after consideration of the appeal, which we, of course, will submit, ”she wrote.
Thus, the court granted the lawsuit of Rospotrebnadzor. The department claimed that the university did not comply with the instructions to eliminate the violations that were identified during the audit in July 2016.
If the university appeal is rejected and the license is still canceled, the university will not be able to continue educational activities. One of the founders of the university, the head of the Center for Strategic Development, Alexei Kudrin on Twitter, wrote that in the event of a loss, the university will receive a new license.
Rospotrebnadzor suspended the EUSPB license in December 2016. The basis for this was the violation of the procedure for taking students, untimely certification of employees and the teaching staff that does not meet the requirements.
Russian President Vladimir Putin intervened in the situation, after which the license was restored to the university. However, then Rospotrebnadzor filed a new lawsuit. In addition, the EUSPB evidence was filed by the administration of St. Petersburg. Its consideration will begin on April 5.
