With the assistance of the FSB, more than 3 tons of food were destroyed in the region in two days

Employees of Rosselkhoznadzor, during joint raids with the FSB authorities in the Krasnodar Territory on March 16 and 17 of this year, identified 7 facts of sales of products prohibited for import into the territory of the Russian Federation with a total weight of 3350.4 kg.

Prohibited fruits and vegetables were found in markets in Krasnodar, in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Kurganinsky and Korenovsky districts.

In accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated July 29, 2015 No. 391 “On certain special economic measures applied to ensure the security of the Russian Federation” the following were destroyed:

• 180 kg - fresh tomatoes from Turkey (burnt)
• 520 kg - fresh pomegranates from Turkey (burnt)
• 1149 kg - Polish pears from Poland (put under a bulldozer)
• 1501.4 kg - apples from Poland (put under a bulldozer)

In the Krasnodar Territory, FSB officers are actively helping to combat the products.

Only at the beginning of the new year 2017, thanks to employees of the Federal Security Service , more than 2 tons of Turkish tomatoes and Polish apples were discovered and “bulldozed.”

In the Krasnodar Territory, throughout 2016, they actively sought out and destroyed products imported from countries that were subject to the Russian food embargo. Thanks to the operational work of the departments, it was possible to avoid more than 100 tons of sanctioned fruits and vegetables from reaching the tables of residents of Kuban.
