Stolen by the sun

In Moscow, a search is held in the apartment of the head of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "ATEX" Andrei Kaminov, reports Fontanka. Kaminov himself was detained and taken to the Investigative Committee.

"ATEX" is a structural unit of the Federal Security Service. The thing concerns the theft of funds in the construction of the president’s residence in Novo-Ogarev.

The criminal case against Kaminov and a number of St. Petersburg subcontractors was instituted in part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale). According to the investigation, the money was stolen during the construction of the "facility No. 53 of the FSO of Russia" - a two -story house of receptions with a hotel and a gym. The amount of estimates exceeds 5.5 billion rubles.

According to the publication, the criminal case was opened by an investigator in particularly important cases of the Investigative Committee of Justice, Colonel of Justice Sergey Novikov. It is he who conducts a criminal case on smuggling against the St. Petersburg billionaire Dmitry Mikhalchenko. Thus, the assumption is confirmed that searches in St. Petersburg in the case of Kaminov may be related to the testimony of Mikhalchenko himself.

At the same time, in St. Petersburg, the offices of several subcontractors of the Baltztroy company, related to the arrested autumn of 2016, Mikhalchenko, are searched at once. According to the publication, the searches are led by a group of employees of the Economic Security Service and the Main Directorate of Office of the FSB who arrived from Moscow.

The surname Mikhalchenko had already surfaced in 2016 in connection with searches in the Federal Customs Service and the subsequent resignations of its head Andrei Bellyaninov and other leaders. The businessman is charged with the import of a large batch of cognac Courvoisier in 1912 under the guise of building sealant.
