The UK follows the US in banning passengers on flights from the Middle East from taking laptops on board.

The UK authorities have banned passengers on flights from six Middle Eastern countries from carrying laptops and other large electronic devices. The ban was announced on the evening of March 21.

Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia The ban will apply to flights between the UK and Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan , .

Earlier, a similar ban was introduced by the US authorities.
