The second time the case was terminated against the Volgograd janitors who collected garbage in the flag of Russia

The Investigative Committee terminated the criminal case against janitors who collected foliage in the flag of Russia in Volgograd, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the representative of the Investigative Committee of the IC of the region.

“The criminal case has been terminated,” the representative of the department told the agency without explaining the reason.

In October 2016, a local resident announced to the police that in the Tractorozavodsky district of the city, janitors were cleaning garbage, using Russian tricolor as a bag. As he said, at first they throw garbage on the flag, and then with the help of a banner they load into the car.

In November, by decision of the prosecutor's office, a criminal case was opened under the article "Abuse of the State Flag of the Russian Federation." At the same time, the police, having conducted an audit, refused to initiate the case, but the prosecutor’s office insisted on this again, but in March the investigative actions stopped.
