The authorities of the Moscow region intend to limit the construction of high -rise residential buildings in Krasnogorsk, where before that developers implemented large projects chaotically. The moratorium will prevent transport and social collapse in Krasnogorsk, and local officials expect. According to one of the interlocutors of the newspaper, new restrictions on the development of the general plan, the development of which are now engaged in local authorities. By the summer, the document is planned to be submitted to the governor Andrei Vorobyov and present it at a public hearing. The press service of the head of the Moscow Region reported that the general plan is developed taking into account the development of social, transport, and engineering infrastructures.

According to the newspaper, Krasnogorsk is one of the largest municipalities in the Moscow Region and the most built -up city in the region. According to the results of 2016, in Krasnogorsk, the total volume of housing has increased by 30%, while the weighted average price, according to realtors, is 91 thousand rubles per “square”, which is 8% higher than the average in the region.

In January of this year, the Krasnogorsk municipal district was transformed into the city district of Krasnogorsk. In April, the procedure for joining 37 settlements should be completed. According to local authorities, 317 thousand people permanently live on the territory of the new education. In the summer season, the number of residents increases markedly, exceeding the figure of 500 thousand people. The Moscow Region authorities hope that Krasnogorsk will become one of the pilot projects to create a comfortable urban environment.
