A Ukrainian journalist who was detained after an interview with a Moscow State University graduate student beaten by police officers was released from the police department of Moscow State University. The special correspondent of the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, Roman Tsymbalyuk, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
As Tsymbalyuk wrote , the interview with the graduate student ended with the arrival of the police and took away the documents from the journalist. Soon the journalist said that he was being taken to the local police station to check the "legality of the shooting."
A graduate student of the Faculty of History of Moscow State University named Zakhar was detained on March 18 for a homemade Ukrainian flag and beaten. After that, unknown persons, who introduced themselves as FSB officers, forced the graduate student to sign a paper on allegedly voluntary cooperation as an informer.
