Former Chelyabinsk Governor Yurevich rejected the prosecution of the investigation

The former governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Mikhail Yurevich, in an interview with Kommersant, did not agree with the charges of the Investigative Committee (SK).

“I did not take any bribes from Teslenko, there was no incitement of Grachev on my part. As for the summons, I personally did not receive them. It is not clear to which address they sent them to the Investigative Committee, ”Yurevich said.

The ex-governor also clarified that the issue of his return to Russia will be resolved after consultations with a lawyer.

First Deputy Yurevich Oleg Grachev refused to comment.

Earlier, the UK revealed the details of the criminal case against the ex-governor. The investigation accuses him of receiving bribes in the amount of 26 million rubles from the Minister of Health of the Chelyabinsk Region Vitaly Teslenko, as well as in the incitement of Grachev to slander the chairman of the Chelyabinsk regional court.

In the UK, in addition, they added that Yurevich did not come to interrogations on the agenda on March 17 and 20, saying that he was in Israel. If he does not come for interrogation after the third agenda, the investigation will put him on the wanted list.

Yurevich served as the governor of the Chelyabinsk region from 2010 to 2014. Now his family belongs to the manufacturer of Makfa pasta.
