The fact that Samoilov will represent Russia at Eurovision became known on March 12. The next day, the SBU announced that she was checking the reliability of information about the singer’s visits to the annexed Crimea. It was reported that the audit will take place within a month and, according to its results, a decision will be made on the admission of the contestant to the country or a ban on entry.
