British Prime Minister Theresa May delivered an address in connection with the terrorist attack on the afternoon of March 22 near the Houses of Parliament in London.
“We will move forward together, never give in to terror, and never let the voices of hatred and evil divide us,” May said at the end of her speech.
She stressed that after the attack, "parliament will meet as usual" and all residents and visitors to London will go about their business "as usual."
May also said that the location for the attack was not chosen by chance, since the parliament symbolizes the values of free people - such as "democracy, freedom, human rights, the rule of law."
“Any attempt to crush these values through violence and terror is doomed to failure,” she said.
