
The new case against the former governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh applies to a bribe of € 200 thousand. This was told by the Belya lawyer Andrei Grokhotov, Interfax reports.
“Allegedly, through a bunch of people, businessman Laritsky handed the white bribe,” the defender explained.
According to Grokhotov, investigators believe that the intermediary, when transferring a bribe, was the deputy white Sergey Shcherchkov. The lawyer recalled that Laritsky was now in jail, and expressed bewilderment, did he decide to give the testimony against the whites only now.
As RIA Novosti reports , Grokhotov called the new episode of the case of white fictional, noting that "there are no bribes." The lawyer also stated that the investigation should initiate a case of fraud on Shcherchkov if he "took money under the whites."
The fact that a new case was instituted on the whites, united with already opened in one proceedings, the investigator in his case reported earlier on March 22. He said that the prosecution was brought on March 17, the Belykh was questioned, but the former governor did not admit his guilt on two episodes of the prosecution.
Belykh was detained in one of the Moscow restaurants on June 24, 2016, and the next day was arrested on charges of receiving a bribe. Investigators believe that he received € 400 thousand for the support of the Novovytsk Ski plant (NLK) and a forestry management company. The money was transferred to him by the former owner of NLK Albert Laritsky and the current owner of the enterprise Yuri Zudheimer.
In November 2016, Laritsky received three years in colony for fraud. The court found him guilty of the formation of fictitious debt NLC and theft of Sberbank loans in the amount of 254 million rubles.
