Poklonskaya demands to check the director "Matilda" for extremism for comparing it with cinemas' aids

State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya, who repeatedly criticized the creators of the film "Matilda" for the allegedly manifested disrespect for Emperor Nicholas II, turned to the head of the Office for the Combation of Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a request to evaluate the statements of the director of the picture. The displeasure of the ex-prosecutor of Crimea was caused by the fact that Alexey Teacher associated her with an organization that threatened to burn the cinemas that demonstrate to Matilda.

"I prepared a deputy request addressed to the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to combat extremism to verify the arguments of Alexei Teacher and the statements of his lawyer Konstantin Dobrynin. Poklonskaya herself, opposing the rental of Matilda, previously asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs to check the critics of the film from the organization "Christian state - Holy Russia" for extremism. Now the deputy draws the attention of law enforcement officers to the fact that the teacher asks to protect him from the "Christian state", connecting the activity of the organization with it.

Poklonskaya also applied to the Prosecutor General with a request to conduct an audit against the film "Matilda". In her opinion, the picture contains scenes that insult the feelings of believers. The prosecutor's office of St. Petersburg, which conducted the audit before the appeal of Poklonskaya, did not reveal violations of the law. Subsequently, the deputy said that she intends to send a second request to the Prosecutor General.

The picture, the budget of which is $ 25 million, should be released on October 25, 2017, when the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution will be celebrated.
