In Vladivostok, the Primorsky Territory, the side of the victims appealed the verdict sentenced in a criminal case, which was instituted against the young motorist Nonna Lepikhina. She was found guilty in the collision of two people who crossed the road at a pedestrian crossing. The victims received fatal injuries.

The Frunze District Court of Vladivostok sentenced Nonna Lepikhin to four years in prison in a colony-settlement. However, one of the victims - the brother of Ksenia, who died in an accident, did not agree with the court decision. Prior to the decision of the appeal instance, Lepukhin will be in jail, reports IA PrimaMedia .

The appeal from Andrei Kazachenka came on March 13, 10 days after the verdict Lepikhina.

“We believe with the client that the verdict pronounced is too soft. In our opinion, it was necessary to apply such an article according to which it would be possible to appoint a sentence in a colony of general regime instead of a colony -settlement. In addition, the period of deprivation of a driver’s license for laying was two years, although the maximum is three years,” said Andrei Kazachenka, Gennady Grieryev.

Nonna Lepikhina’s lawyer Sergei Travin, on the contrary, is satisfied with the verdict: “The Cossack decision is clear: the sentence always seems too soft, accused - most often too tough. But we thought that the court’s decision was not faced, my client made such a verdict.”

The Primorsky Regional Court of Application of the decision of the first instance has not yet received.

The tragedy occurred on the night of July 16, 2016 near the Aleutsky shopping center, located on Aleutskaya Street in Vladivostok. 23-year-old Dmitry Chadov and Ksenia Cossacks crossed the road along an unregulated pedestrian crossing when they were shot down by the Toyota Allion car, moving at high speed.

As it turned out, a 19-year-old resident of Vladivostok Nonna Lopekhina was driving a foreign car. At the time of the accident, her driver's experience was a little more than a month.

The injured young man died from injuries at the scene, and the girl was taken to the intensive care unit of the city hospital with a traumatic brain injury, where she also subsequently died. The medical examination showed the lack of alcohol in the blood of the culprit of the accident.

The moment of the accident was recorded by the surveillance camera, and the video was published by the VL.ru news agency. Judging by the personnel, Lepikhina almost knocked down two more people who crossed the road with Chadov and Cossacks.

In court, Lepukhina refused to testify, referring to the 51st article of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. She asked for forgiveness from the victim and read out these testimonies earlier.

"The fact that in this place is an unregulated pedestrian crossing, I knew. Therefore, approaching the transition, I slightly reduced the speed of my movement. I saw the passage of the pedestrian crossing the left to the right, I removed my leg from the gas, but did not slow down," the defendant explained.

Suddenly, for a woman-driver, due to a standing car like a sedan, "a guy with a girl appeared who crossed the roadway from right to left."

“I applied emergency braking and turned the steering wheel to the right. At that moment, it hit them,” Nonna Lepakhina explained.

Earlier, the accused claimed that the dead did not cross, but "suddenly ran out of the car."

During the meeting, Nonna Lepikhina stated the request to reduce claims totaling more than two million rubles. The girl said that such an amount would not pay for a lifetime, so she asks the court to take this circumstance and reduce claims. She is ready to pay the costs of lawyers based on their work. The cost of burial should be taken by the Dalkfes insurance company, where Allion was insured, reported by the PRIMPRESS news agency.

On March 3, 2017, the Frunze District Court found Nonna Lepikhin guilty and sentenced her to four years in a colony-settlement and a ban on driving a vehicle within two years. The court also partially satisfied the claims of the victims of compensation for non -pecuniary damage for the total amount of two million rubles - each of the four victims is due for 500 thousand rubles.

In the consideration of claims for compensation for the costs of the burial of the dead young people, the court refused. The claims of the compensation of court expenses and the work of lawyers Roman Chadov (father Dmitry Chadov) and Julia Chadova (mother of Dmitry) were partially satisfied, the total amount of compensation amounted to 60 thousand rubles. The girl was taken into custody in the courtroom.

The defendant asked the court to be not too strict to her: "I repent and I know that what I did is terrible. I don’t know how to live with this. I ask the court to strictly judge me."

Initially, it was Andrei Kazachenok, who appealed the verdict, who insisted on the usual procedure for considering the criminal case, although it was possible to do this in a special order. Then the sentence to Lepikhina would be read earlier, but it would be even softer.

“I want every minute and the second of what is happening to pop up in the memory of Nonna Mikhailovna all her life,” the Cossack said at the hearing on February 28.
