Organizer of action against corruption in Saransk detained

In Saransk, Kirill Matyavin, the organizer of a rally of Alexei Navalny's supporters against corruption planned for March 26, was detained. This was reported on the page of the event in the social network "VKontakte".

According to the authors of the message, when Matyavin left the house, a girl approached him and asked where the pharmacy was, then she started screaming that she had been hit. After that, Matyavin was detained. Where he is now, is not reported.

The authors of the message suggest that Matyavin's phone is being tapped or his correspondence is being monitored.

Earlier on March 23, it became known that the administration of Saransk refused to approve the action against corruption. In particular, a children's entertainment event "Merry Train" is planned on one of the city's squares. This is reported by the publication "Capital C".
