Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev proposed to extend the experimental tariff of Plato. It is reported by Interfax .
“I think we could not flatten this experimental part, but to stretch and extend the grace period that exists,” he said.
The head of government proposed in the near future to raise the tariff by only 25%. At the same time, he approved the proposal to reduce the tariff of Plato for cars with high mileage.
“It looks economically reasonable - the more you drive, the less you pay the tariff. There is a certain reason in this. I’m not saying “yes” yet, but it would be possible to consider it exactly, ”the Prime Minister said.
Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich assured that the decision to extend the “experimental” tariff will be released on March 24.
In February, the government said that the tariff will double from April 15, 2017. It will amount to 3.06 rubles per kilometer.
Now one kilometer at the Plato tariff costs 1.53 rubles. The system of gathering fees from heavy trucks for federal routes began to operate in November 2015. Initially, the tariff was supposed to be 3.73 rubles, but after protests, the truckers were reduced. Fines for non -payment of travel were also reduced. According to the current rules, a fine for unpaid travel is 5 thousand rubles, with a second violation, the fine will double.
