The previously agreed rally against corruption in Magnitogorsk was canceled

The administration of the city of Magnitogorsk, which previously agreed on a rally against corruption, on March 24 withdrew the approval of the action. The reason for the refusal was allegedly a utility accident at Victory Square. This was reported on the page of the event in the social network "Vkontakte". The administration did not offer alternative venues for the rally.

In dozens of Russian cities, activists have filed bids to hold rallies demanding an investigation into a publication by the Anti-Corruption Foundation about Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's "secret empire". However, in many cities, the mayor's office either does not coordinate the rallies, or offers activists other venues, most often on the outskirts of the city.
