In Slavyansk-on-Kuban, on March 24, activist Sergei Dudyev was detained, who was distributing informational leaflets about the forthcoming protest action of truckers. The next day, the court arrested Dudyev for three days. This was announced to OVD-Info by the representative of the Association of Carriers of Russia Sergey Ovchinnikov.
The court agreed with the police, which considered the distribution of leaflets an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. As Ovchinnikov said, the police also spoke about some “signs of extremism” in the leaflets, but in the end they showed nothing to anyone, which is not surprising - the text was carefully checked by ODA lawyers before distribution.
