On March 3, the Foundation for the fight against corruption (FBK) was published by the film-investigation “He is not Dimon for you”, which told about elite real estate, yachts and agricultural enterprises of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. According to the authors of the film, all these assets prime minister owns the secretly - nominal owners are charitable funds and companies that the authorized persons of Medvedev control. On March 14, the head of the FBK Alexei Navalny filed an application for a rally in the center of Moscow - “Speaking in support of the requirements to investigate the facts of corruption of senior officials of Russia”.

Navalny called on his supporters to apply for the same rallies throughout the country. The Moscow City Hall was in no hurry to coordinate the action, and later offered to hold it in the Sokolniki park or in Maryino; Politics did not suit this option.

In total, according to Navalny, the street shares of the campaign “He are not Dimon” are ready to hold in 84 cities, it turned out to be coordinated with local authorities only in the 21st.

The applicants and ordinary shares in the regions reported administrative and power pressure. So, Khabarovsk, Alexei Vorsin was fined under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the order of mass event) a week before the set date of the rally, and in Saransk, the organizer Kirill Matyavin received 10 days of administrative arrest.
