Uber has suspended the test of unmanned vehicles due to the accident

The Uber service suspenses the test of cars with an autopilot after one of the cars got into an accident in Arizona. It is reported by Bloomberg with reference to the representative of the company.

According to the police, there are no injured in the accident. The accident occurred at the intersection when the driver of a car, when turning, crashed into a developed Uber, a volvo self -controlled SUV. It is noted that the accident did not occur due to the fault of the autopilot.

The company temporarily stopped testing unmanned vehicles in Arizona, as well as Pittsburgh and San Francisco until the circumstances are clarified.

At the end of 2016, the company had a conflict with the California authorities, as a result, Uber suspended the testing of self -governing cars in this state. However, in early March, the company agreed to register cars according to the rules of California.

Uber launched unmanned taxis in Pittsburgh and California in September 2016. The service uses Ford and Volvo cars.
