The ten -year -old Dima spinal muscle atrophy (SMA) of the second type, in which the muscles become weaker every day. But the boy’s small body is extremely curved - the consequences of a long -term lying on one side in an orphanage. Dima lived in an orphanage, and once they wrote an article about him - to help find a family.

Tanya Sveshnikova, having read this publication, realized that he would take Dima to his home. In the orphanage, she was told that Dima had an unfavorable forecast, but Tanya replied: “It is more important for me how he would live the years allotted to him, and not how he would die. We are all the same. ” For several months it took to collect documents and the execution of guardianship. And in March 2015, Dima was at home, and Tanya became his mother.

Tatyana was born in the family of a priest - father Vladislav Sveshnikov now the abbot of the temple of three saints on the Kulishki. A teacher of the Russian language and literature by education, she worked in a Moscow shelter, from where she took and raised four girls.

According to Tatyana, Dima’s native mother had no strength to deal with them, so he got to the hospital with his diagnosis, from there to the child’s house in Yaroslavl and finally in the orphanage of the disabled person in the Yaroslavl outback. The boy moaned in pain, his body was more and more twisted, due to deformation of the internal organs, digestive problems began. He lost his way literally before his eyes - when Tatyana designed a guardianship and took him from the orphanage, weighed 10 kg.

Dima always treated adults in disbelief, refused to talk, sit, accept any help, was offended. But Tanya melted his heart with her love. “He generally looks like me, we love the same food, the same films. Under the mask of incredulity and alertness, a very sensitive, gentle and not smart boy is hidden, ”says Tanya. Despite the ailment, Dima refuses to behave as a disabled person: he is able to play hockey for hours, worn on a gym on an electric chair, attaching a club between his knees.

Now Dima needs to purchase a special functional-corrective corset, which costs 70 thousand rubles.
