The head of the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Leonid Volkov, who was detained the day before in the office of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, was arrested by the Simornovsky District Court for 10 days on charges of disobeying a lawful order of a police officer (under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by eyewitnesses from the courtroom.
Earlier, the same court considered the cases of other people detained in the FBK office. Ekaterina Melnikova (FBK volunteer, Memorial employee) was arrested for seven days, FBK employee Maria Zakharova was fined 1,000 rubles.
The day before, 13 people were detained in the office of the fund - employees, volunteers and video broadcast operators of anti-corruption actions that took place in different cities of Russia. The police officers who came to the office with a search , claimed that they refused to comply with the order to leave the premises in connection with the alleged threat of fire.
