"Innovation" extends the acceptance of applications

The State Center for Contemporary Art, as part of the State Museum and Exhibition Center "Rosiso" extended the acceptance of applications for the State Prize in the field of modern art "Innovation" from March 31 to April 7.

Applications are accepted on the Innovation website .

The prize will be awarded for projects implemented in 2016 in Russia in six competitive nominations:

• "Project of the year";
• "Curator of the year";
• "Artist of the year";
• "Regional project";
• "New generation";
• "Educational project";

and two out -of -competition nominations:

• “For contribution to the development of contemporary art”;
• "For the support of the contemporary art of Russia."

In addition, the Organizing Committee of the Innovation Prize, together with the U-Art : You and Art fund, announces the acceptance of applications in the nomination “Book of the Year: Theory and History of Contemporary Art”.

The prize will be awarded to the authors or compilers of the publication dedicated to art of the XX - XXI century (monograph, catalog, art album, a collection of articles, etc.). A prerequisite is the publication of the book in 2016.

The nomination is designed to support research and educational activities in the field of contemporary art.

Applications for the Innovation Prize in the nomination “Book of the Year: History and Theory of Contemporary Art” are accepted until April 16, then they will be considered by the expert council of the U-Art Foundation. The size of the prize in this nomination in 2017 is 300 thousand rubles.
