In Izhevsk, a 36-year-old former employee of the Izhtekhnotyuning company was detained, suspected of murdering the owner and director of this company, 36-year-old businessman Pavel Kasikhin (Article 105 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Udmurtia.
As reported in the regional department of the Investigative Committee, the businessman’s body was found on the morning of March 29 near the tram tracks in front of house No. 26 on 4th Podlesnaya Street in Izhevsk. The police clarified that the person detained on suspicion of murdering Kasikhin confesses.
According to the Izhevsk newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, the suspect met Kasikhin when he went out for a walk with his dog. According to eyewitnesses, he shot the businessman in the eye with a traumatic weapon.
The NTA-Privolzhye agency clarifies that the Izhtekhnotuning company is engaged in the production and sale of automobile spare parts. Before his dismissal, which is believed to be the motive for the murder, the suspect worked there as a machine operator.
