A participant in a rally against corruption in Rostov-on-Don, Yevgeny Berkovich, was sent to a psychiatric hospital for examination. As Berkovich himself told Rosbalt and the Caucasian Knot , he was called to the police to talk about the rally, and then the police called doctors, and they took him away.
At the rally, Berkovich called for the resignation of the Rostov governor and said that he himself was ready to go to the election of the head of the region. According to the activist, when meeting with the police, he was asked why he offended the governor.
According to Evgeniy Berkovich, he fears that in the hospital they might “inject” him with something, which will make him inadequate.
